Ta-Nehisi Coates, writer and essayist for The Atlantic magazine will be coming to the University of Toronto to speak about the issue of reparations to African-Americans in the United States, based on the highly acclaimed article he wrote for the magazine in the summer. This event will be from 7:00-9:00 PM at Isabel Bader Theatre and will feature a Q&A after the talk.

This event is organized by the Arts and Science Students' Union, the Centre for Study of the United States, the Faculty of Arts and Science, the Univeristy of Torotno Students' Union and the History Department at U of T.
