A Leading-Edge Micro-Conference on Post-Secondary Student Employment Issues in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to Connect, Engage, and Equip A Community of Students, Alumni, Educators, Policymakers & Employers

The Road Ahead is an interface on the employment landscape for university and college-level students and recent alumni in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), viewed, and told, from a contemporary post-secondary perspective.

Although the dialogue on youth unemployment is certainly not new, there still exists a real, and imminent, dilemma in the employment of this demographic related, in part, to policy shortcomings, reduced job offerings, and ever-slowly expanding career education mandates in higher education settings. The school-to-work transition has never been more difficult, requiring new ideas, and most importantly, novel initiatives, brought about by educators, policymakers and employers alike.

Are we effectively supporting the lost generation of talent? What, if any, are our best practices? Let us inspire change on #TheRoadAhead.
