If I am not registered with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers, can I still attend?

No, this mini-conference is only for NSCSW members. (we will hold other events this year that are open to social workers in other jurisdictions, health and social care workers in other professions, and the general public)

Can students attend?

Accepted Answer

If you are a student member of NSCSW, yes you can. Our student membership is open to anyone enrolled in an accredited social work BSW or MSW program, whether at CBU, Dalhousie, Université Sainte-Anne, or a university outside Nova Scotia. Get in touch if you're eligible but haven't joined yet!

Question 3

Is the NSCSW annual conference free?

Accepted Answer

This year's conference is free for NSCSW members to participate, due to the theme, purpose, and format planned by the NSCSW Professional Development Committee. Next year's anniversary conference will likely have a fee to attend in-person, but it will be partially subsidized for NSCSW members.
