Where is this focus group?

We're using Zoom for this virtual focus group. This application is free to download, and you do not need to create an account. You will need a reliable internet connection to participate.

Question 2

Do I need to register with my real name and contact information?

Accepted Answer

We need enough information to issue your honorarium cheque. If the name you would prefer us to use when communicating with you is different from the one recognized by your bank or credit union, please write and let us know before the event.

Can I just show up without signing up online?

Accepted Answer

No, there is limited space so we need all attendees to RSVP ahead of time. (if seats fill up we'll start a waitlist in case someone has to cancel)

Is this the only focus group planned?

For Black/African Nova Scotians we are also holding in-person sessions in central Halifax at New Horizons and in New Glasgow at Ward One. There are additional sessions planned for other equity-deserving groups (e.g. Nova Scotians with disabilities).
