    We have the honour of having Kirk Johnson, SANT director of the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, where he oversees the world's largest natural history collection as our Keynote Speaker.

    Who is the Dinner Speaker?

    ​Ray Troll is an American artist based in Ketchikan, Alaska. Troll, draws inspiration from the fossil record and pays homage to the familiar and bizarre in stunning portrayals of lost worlds. He is best known for his scientifically accurate and often humorous artwork.

    The BCPA also sponsors a Paleontological Symposium, held every two years. The symposium brings together amateur and professional paleontologists from across Canada, North America, and internationally, to exchange the latest ideas on British Columbia paleontology.
