Is there parking?

Is the venue accessible?

The room is barrier free, and the location and associated facilities have accessible entry, washroom facilities, and services. If you have specific access needs not addressed here, please contact us.

What if I can't make it to any of these locations in person?

Accepted Answer

NSCSW will create online resources and learning opportunities for our members about the transition. But if there are multiple social workers in your workplace, we encourage you to collaborate with your employer to make sure at least one of you can attend and bring the knowledge back to the team.

Why should social workers in Nova Scotia engage with this process?

These changes will affect all social workers in our province. NSCSW expects to be consulted during the development of the profession-specific regulations in the RHPA; this is your chance to share your priorities and tell us what we should be advocating for at that table.

Question 5

What other locations are being visited in the NSCSW roadshow?

More in-person roadshow events are planned this spring and summer in Port Hawkesbury, Truro, Halifax, Bridgewater, and Yarmouth. We hope to hold a virtual session as well, which may be less interactive.
