2016 Annual Forum of the "National Check-off Agency"

As per our Notice of Meeting dated May 9, 2016, we are pleased to announce the 2016 Annual Forum of the Canadian Beef Cattle Research, Market Development and Promotion Agency (known as the Agency), to be held August 9th, 2016 at 8:00am-12:00pm at the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino. As part of our commitment to complete transparency, the forum will be open to all those interested to observe and participate.

Our Annual Forum will take place in concurrence with the 2016 Canadian Beef Industry Conference (CBIC), August 9-11. In the past, the event was titled the “Canada Beef Annual Forum” and was a two-day event, with marketing-related presentations on Day 1, and the Annual Forum business meeting on Day 2. This year, the business meeting (Annual Forum of the Agency) will be held on Day 1, and participants are encouraged to register for and attend the CBIC for the remainder of the week.

*All attendees, including voting delegates, are responsible for booking their own travel and accomodation, with the exception of current Directors of The Agency.

NOTES FOR ANNUAL FORUM DELEGTES AND ATTENDEES FOR AUGUST 9, 2016:

Annual Forum will be held in the Eagle Robe room at the Grey Eagle Resort and Casino at 8:00am. Delegates and attendees are asked to arrive early to register for the meeting. Registration will open at 7:30am at the Eagle Robe room.

Breakfast is included with hotel room reservations at any of the Canadian Beef Industry Conference hotels (Grey Eagle, Carriage House Inn, Hotel Blackfoot). Only light refreshments will be available during the meeting. Lunch will be provided for those who register in advance and check-in at the registration desk upon arrival at the meeting.
