About this event
- Event lasts 6 hours
The goal of the Pre-Law Expo is to spark interest for high school students and to encourage undergraduate students to pursue a legal education/career. This event is meant to create a resourceful and professional space for black students to learn more about the path to law school, gain tips and knowledge, meet and foster a rapport with black law students and black professionals within the legal field. The Expo will feature presentations about LSAT preparation and law school admissions, as well as a panel of Black law students and Black lawyers discussing their experiences and answering questions.
Students who register between September 3-10 will be entered into a draw to win 1 of 7 LSAT Prep courses delivered by 7Sage.
Zoom link and virtual schedule will be emailed to registered virtual participants prior to the Expo.
Frequently asked questions
You have two options: (1) drive and pay for parking at one of the parking lots via Honk Mobile or (2) take the subway to Osgoode Station. Then take a 7-minute walk to the law school. For more info, see: blsacanada.com/pre-law-expo
We recommend attending in person. The in-person Expo experience offers the greatest value for networking and professional development. However, if unable to attend in-person, the virtual experience promises unique networking and career development opportunities.
Virtual attendees will join the hybrid sessions happening in-person and have their own virtual sessions.
Business casual! Remember, you're entering a professional space and will network with law school admissions representatives, legal professionals and law students.
