The Whitby Santa Claus Parade has been an integral part of family life in Whitby, ON Canada and has been held annually on the first Saturday of December of 50+ years. The Optimist Club of Brooklin, Ontario has taken over the organization of the parade and is proud and honoured to be able to continue the traditions that JCI Durham started.

The Whitby Santa Claus Parade has been held on the first Saturday of December for 50+ years. An event for all ages, the Whitby Santa Claus Parade showcases over 50 organizations holiday spirit as they walk along the Brock St. parade route. The Whitby Santa Claus Parade was organized by JCI Durham for the first 50 years of the parades history. The Optimist Club of Brooklin, Ontario has taken over the organization of the parade in 2022 and looks forward to continuing the traditions that JCI Durham started.
