Join us for the 2025 EMAC Spring Gasshuku hosted by Napanee Karate Club! Get ready to immerse yourself in a day filled with martial arts, camaraderie, and fun. This in-person event will take place on Sat. May 3, 2025 at Napanee District Secondary School and Sun. May 4, 2025 at Napanee Karate Club.
The Gasshuku is the perfect opportunity for martial arts enthusiasts of all levels to come together and learn from experienced instructors. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced practitioner, there will be something for everyone. During this event, you'll have the chance to participate in various workshops and training sessions, focusing on different aspects of martial arts. From improving your techniques to enhancing your physical fitness, talented instructors will guide you every step of the way.
Training aside, you'll also have the chance to meet like-minded individuals who share your passion for martial arts. Tournament
Join us in the morning for a fun tournament designed for all ages and belt levels where you can demonstrate your skills in empty-hand and weapons kata as well as sparring.
Black Belt Grading
The Black Belt grading will be held on Friday, May 2 at Napanee Karate Club. Grading runs from 6:00PM - 9:00PM and is open to EMAC Black Belts only.
T-Shirts
T-shirts can be pre-ordered with your event ticket. A limited number of event t-shirts will be available for purchase onsite.
Lunch
For your convenience, a local charity, Morning Star Mission, will be on site providing lunch service with a variety of hot and cold options to avoid needing to travel for lunch. The suggested donation for lunch is $20
Additional Items For Sale
Additional items such as martial arts books, t-shirts and other items will be available for purchase at the Gasshuku.
