Ils nous parleront des projets de 1QBit ainsi que des possibilités de stages.Activité en format hybride. Dominic MarchandChef de la recherche et des partenariats, SherbrookeDominic Marchand a étudié le génie informatique et la physique à l’Université Laval et à l’Université de la Colombie-Britannique. Après des travaux postdoctoraux portant sur les méthodes Monte Carlo quantiques, Dominic s’est joint à l’équipe de chercheurs fraîchement créée par 1QBit. Au cours des 8 dernières années, Dominic a contribué à de nombreux projets et travaillé étroitement avec des clients de 1QBit avant d’accepter le mandat d’établir une présence à Sherbrooke. Dominic est un passionné de technologie, de lecture, d’escalade et de caféine.Jessica LemieuxScientifiqueJessica a complété un baccalauréat en physique mathématique à l’Université d’Ottawa en 2015. Elle a poursuivi ses études aux cycles supérieurs en physique sous la supervision des professeurs David Poulin, Guillaume Duclos-Cianci et David Sénéchal à l’Université de Sherbrooke. Sa recherche était centrée principalement sur l’estimation et la réduction de ressources pour la préparation d’état sur un ordinateur quantique. Pour elle, l’informatique quantique permet un renouveau prometteur dans l’approche utilisée pour la résolution de problèmes difficiles.
