Question 1

Can I bring my child?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  This event is open to everyone.  We will be looking for flowering plants so it's a great way to introduce children to nature and have them participate in a citizen science event!

Question 2

Can I bring my dog?

Accepted Answer

While we love dogs, we ask that you leave your dog at home for the event.  This event is open to many people and not all people love dogs equally.  You can always bring your dog later and show them all the beautiful flowering plants! ;)

Question 3

I have limited mobility, can I still come?

Accepted Answer

We try to accomodate people of all ages and abilities.  If you have limited mobility we will work with you to participate so that you can join in.  We will be sticking to the pathways for this event so there will be no dirt pathways or rough terrain.

Question 4

Do I need to bring anything to the event?

Accepted Answer

No.  We will have guidebooks and experts to lead you through the event.  You can download the iNaturalist app (it's free) which is how we will be capturing the data for the event.  To download the app search for iNaturalist in the app store.
