Do you want to reduce utility bills, improve home comfort and reduce greenhouse gas emissions? The City of Markham, in partnership with the City of Richmond Hill, City of Vaughan, Humber College and Enbridge Gas, is offering a free virtual Home Efficiency Retrofit Orientation (HERO) workshop to homeowners.

The HERO program helps homeowners incorporate best practice energy-efficiency upgrades in home renovations that improve comfort, resilience, peace of mind, GHG reductions, and lower energy costs. The session will provide insights on eligible rebate programs and topics covered including: Heating/Cooling systems, Insulation, Windows, Hot Water Heating & reducing Air Leakage. It is geared towards single-family homeowners (i.e. detached, semi-detached, townhome house types).

The workshop will take place on Tuesday, December 10 from 6 to 8 PM.

Limited spots available. Registration is required. All registrants and waitlisters will be emailed Zoom meeting details before the event.
