Capella Regalis Men & Boys Choir presents its 15th Christmas season this December with three in-person performances and an online video broadcast. This year's concert program features some of the greatest works inspired by Christmas from throughout the centuries, including works by Praetorius, Britten, Tavener, Howells, and others, as well as specially programmed pieces to highlight collaborating artists Maritime Brass Quintet and organist Paul Halley.

Online video broadcast - available Dec. 24 - Jan. 6:

A Chorister's Christmas 2024 will be audio-video recorded for online broadcast to viewers around the world. Recorded by top-notch audio and video engineers, the broadcast promises to be an aesthetically satisfying presentation, with unique camera angles and excellent audio that will bring the viewer truly "inside" the performance. The online broadcast is a ticketed event (pay what you can with a suggested range of $10 - $25), available for viewing anytime between December 24 at 4 PM until January 6 (Epiphany) at 11 PM Atlantic Standard Time. Capella Regalis is a Canadian charity dedicated to training singers within a centuries-old tradition and performing choral music of the highest excellence. Founded in Nova Scotia by director Nick Halley in 2010 to build upon the best aspects of the European tradition of church choirs and to revitalize this method of music training in Canada, Capella Regalis now comprises a Boys Choir, Girls Choir, and professional Men's Choir (including Young Men with recently changed voices). Capella Regalis children's choirs are free and open to any child who passes a basic audition.
