  • Free venue parking

Charles Dickens himself toured Europe and North America delivering staged readings of his famed tale, A Christmas Carol, and now actor Jason Stevens channels the Dickensian spirit within the historic walls of Craigdarroch Castle and brings the world of Victorian England to life with his perennially sold-out performances.

Please check in at the Castle’s Visitor Centre before entering the Castle.

The performance is recommended for ages 13 and up.

This event ticket does not include a tour of the Castle.

**Please note, the Castle boasts a beautiful oak staircase containing 87 stairs to the 4th floor ballroom, and there is neither an elevator nor ramps. Stiletto heels are not permitted inside the museum.

Craigdarroch Castle is a definitively Victorian experience. It is a shining example of a “bonanza castle” — massive houses built for entrepreneurs who became wealthy during the industrial age. In this case, the industrialist was Robert Dunsmuir, a Scottish immigrant who made his fortune from Vancouver Island coal.
