A Conversation About Anxiety

Anxiety is on the rise... More than 10% of Canadians aged 15 and older have struggled with an anxiety disorder in the past 12 months. Join us for this conversation about anxiety where we'll talk about:

  • What is anxiety and where does it come from?
  • How does anxiety affect our feelings, thoughts, and behaviours?
  • What are some basic things we can do to cope with anxiety?

Who is this workshop for? The information presented is designed to be helpful for persons with a lived experience with anxiety and/or their loved ones.

About our presenter: Sponsored by Bluewater Church, "A Conversation About Anxiety" is presented by Steve Hall. Steve is a pastor, a trained mental health support group facilitator, and is presently in the home stretch of a Masters degree in Clinical Counselling (Psychotherapy) at Tyndale University. Steve also speaks from his own experience as someone with his own lived experience with anxiety.

Note: The information presented during this workshop is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for treatment by a mental health professional.
