About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Food banks have been in the spotlight recently, particularly with the alarming statistic that 1 Million Ontarians visited a food bank last year. This raises important questions: Why are so many people relying on food banks? Is everyone using these services in genuine need? Does my donation truly make an impact? What’s the most effective way to help?

Join Feed Ontario and frontline food bank representatives on December 11th for a discussion about our 2024 Hunger Report. The discussion will aim to debunk myths about food banks, their visitors, and the reasons behind the increasing need. Additionally, we will explore how rising demand is impacting food bank services, discuss solutions, and share ways that individuals can help.

By registering for our event, you'll receive an email reminder that the event is coming up so you won't miss it. You'll also have an opportunity to submit a question about food banks for our panelists.
