When the ancient Greeks first set foot in southern Italy around 800 BCE, they quickly discovered something extraordinary – the land was already home to flourishing grapevines and a long-standing tradition of winemaking. So impressed were they, they named the region Oenotria, meaning “Land of the Wines.” And from that moment on, southern Italy’s wine culture was off to the races!

Tonight, we’re diving into the rich, bold wines of Southern Italy and the enchanting islands of Sardinia and Sicily. We’ll be sipping our way through the sun-soaked wines of Puglia, Basilicata, Campania, Calabria, Sicily, and Sardinia—regions as warm and vibrant as the wines they produce.
