AACE Chinook-Calgary In-person CCP Exam Prep Course

The Chinook–Calgary Section of AACE Canada was founded in 1972. It currently has over 700 members from a wide range of companies in and outside of Alberta. Our members come largely from the oil and gas industry and are involved in all aspects of estimating, cost control, planning, scheduling and project management.

Members of AACEI receive the Cost Engineering Magazine, a discount on books and publications from AACEI Headquarters and access to contents on the AACEI website.  A Calgary-Chinook Newsletter is also issued regularly and local members are encouraged to submit articles or notices for publication.

Since 1956, AACE International has been the leading-edge professional society for cost estimators, cost engineers, schedulers project managers, and project control specialists.

At the 2007 Annual Meeting, AACE holds its first public offering of the Certified Forensic Claims Consultant (CFCC). AACE is also working diligently to create the Certified Portfolio, Program, & Project Management Manager (C3PM) and the Certified Estimating Professional (CEP). Accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB), CCE and CCC are the only internationally-recognized certifications for cost management professionals.
