Moving forward to address the epidemic of gender-based violence
Gender-based violence has seen unprecedented public, media and political attention in the past few years. Fueled by higher levels of violence than ever before as well as important events like the 2022 CKW Inquest in Renfrew County and the 2022 Nova Scotia Mass Casualty Commission hearings, people are talking about intimate partner and sexual violence as they search for ways to make their communities safer for everyone.
Join us for a conversation, facilitated by feminist lawyer and advocate Pamela Cross, about how we can move forward to address the epidemic of gender-based violence.
