MaRS Discovery District
101 College Street MaRS Collaboration Centre Toronto, Ontario M5G 1L7 CanadaDescription
As the world races towards ubiquitous 5G access, the Government of Canada has partnered with some of the world’s leading tech corporations to create Evolution of Networked Services through a Corridor in Quebec and Ontario for Research and Innovation (ENCOQR 5G).
Housed at MaRS, the ENCQOR testbed is Canada’s first open access, pre-commercial 5G infrastructure. It will allow startups, small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and academia to develop and demonstrate new products and services in a collaborative environment.
With access to this 5G infrastructure, Canadian innovators have a tremendous opportunity to further drive competitive advantage and increase their global market share.
