Dr. Hessami is a board-certified dermatologist in Canada, the United States and Iran. After practicing in Iran as a dermatologist, she moved to Canada in 2000 and entered the last year of medical school and finished the Family medicine program at Queen’s University, then practiced as a Family Doctor until 2009. She then completed her dermatology residency at the University of Toronto. Dr. Hessami is the head of the dermatology program at Scarborough, and she works at the Scarborough General Hospital. She is also lecturer at the University of Toronto for derm residents.
