Title: Canadian Joint Warfare Centre and Joint Operational Fusion Lab History and Overview
Pan-Domain Command and Control (PDC2) is driven by the evolving character of modern warfare, CAF/DND need to embrace the necessary capabilities to enable PDC2 effectively. Therefore, there is an urgent need to accelerate the understanding, development and integration of new technologies and data-driven solutions to enhance decision making support tools. CJWC was directed to establish the Joint Operational Fusion Lab (JOFL) to develop and integrate capabilities, and become an innovation ecosystem that will provide the testing and integrating tools to streamline Command and Control, and Intelligence (C2I) concepts and technologies to de-risk the development of the National Defense Operations and Intelligence Centre (NDOIC) while enabling PDC2 implementation. The Commanding Officer of CJWC, Col Michaud, will discuss some of the work in creating the JOFL and other activities within his unit.
