This year, our closing event combines our monthly Speaking Crow reading with our annual Haiku Death Match. The event begins with readings from local poets Sue Sorensen, Angeline Schellenberg, and Steve Locke, before we transition to a Haiku Death Match where competitors from the Winnipeg Poetry Slam community, as well as local literati, will duke it out for HDM glory! (Please note that, unlike other Speaking Crow events, this event will not include an open mic).
