AIESEC Global Lift

AIESEC Global Lift is AIESEC in SFU's pillar event focused on connecting undergraduate students with industry professionals while highlighting the International Business concentration. Whether the individual has had little or no experience with Case Competitions, AIESEC Global Lift is prepared to lift students to new heights in their professional development journey. Through an interactive and informational keynote speaker, networking with experienced business professionals, and working to resolve a challenging, real-life case study, AlESEC Global Lift presents students with a unique opportunity to gain practical skills and experiences.

Students may sign up as competitors in the sponsored case competition as teams of 3-4 or as individuals and be placed on a team once competitor registration closes. Case competitor tickets include competing in the case competition, as well as the keynote speaker portion, networking, and lunch at the in-person event on November 10th at the SUB Ballroom, SFU Burnaby.

Students may sign up as just networking attendees to enjoy the festivities and activities in the afternoon of the in-person event on November 10th at the SUB Ballroom, SFU Burnaby (2:30 pm-5 pm), which would include observing the finalist presentations, keynote speaker, networking portion, and catered snacks and refreshments.

The case competition portion is comprised of 3 segments: 1. The case will be released approximately a week before, and teams will have that period to deliberate the case before a slide deck submission deadline on Friday, Nov 8th. 2. Competitors will present their slide decks virtually via Zoom on the morning of Saturday, Nov 9th. 3. Competitors will experience a full day of activities in person at the SFU Burnaby SUB Ballroom on Sunday, Nov 10th, with the finalist presentations and subsequent awards ceremony and lunch, with Networking attendees joining us in the afternoon for the keynote speaker and a networking portions over snacks and refreshments.
