Our MissionTo help as many animals as we can

What Do We Do?

We are a hub for all animals in need—any animal, under any circumstances. Beyond adoptions, we support animal welfare in Calgary through education, outreach, emergency vet services for surrendered animals, behaviour training for those in need, and our unique ability to enforce the Animal Protection Act.

We act as a gateway for more meaningful lives. By connecting people and animals, we help animals live healthy and happy lives with the right caretaker. And we help those caretakers reach the feelings of fulfilment and companionship that come with caring for an animal.

What Is Our Vision?

We dream of a community where all animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives. Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
