On September 21st, dive into the world of tiny water creatures with the River Institute at Ontario Power Generation's Saunders Visitor Centre! In this exciting workshop, you'll get to explore the amazing lives of aquatic intervebrates in the St Lawrence River. We will discuss why these little creatures are important, then head out to colllect some samples ourselves using interesting tools like D-nets and kick nets.

Back at the lab, you will become a scientist, using microscopes and other neat gadgets to identify the invertebrates you found. You'll also learn how to check water quality and see how it affects our underwater friends. It's a hands-on, fun-filled day of discovery you won't want to miss!

This family friendly event is FREE to attend!
