About the artist

Rebecca Clouâtre is a collage artist based in Ottawa, Canada. In 2020, CBC Arts released a Paper Cuts documentary film about her artistic process. WKP Kennedy Gallery in North Bay, ON hosted Maternal Collections, her first major solo exhibition in the spring of 2023. Through her work, Clouâtre hopes to encourage viewers to contemplate the intricacies of nature and our complex relationships with the environment while exploring themes of human connection, motherhood, and feminism.
