Description: Looking for something productive to fill those early dismissal afternoons? Or an outlet for your homeschooled child? In this unique community program, students will be supervised as they explore different creative art activities, watch movies, read, play board games and make new friends - all in our amazing MakerSpace studio. The best part is......supplies (and popcorn) are included! However youth are also encouraged to bring their own supplies for specific projects - a favorite novel, journal or personal sketchbook. A fantastic opportunity for youth to wind down before the weekend.
Some of the available projects and activities include:
- sketching challenges
- collage/vision boards
- painting mini-canvases
- jewelry making
- finger knitting
- sculpture (clay & wire)
- writing prompts
- card making
- coloring books
- seasonal crafts for holidays
- board games
- karaoke/jam sessions
*Please Note - transportation to and from the gallery is NOT provided. Attendance will be tracked for safety purposes but is not mandatory. Participants can attend anytime during the session from 1:30-4:30 at their discretion.
