Ascension is an interdisciplinary production produced and performed by undergraduate students of the Music, Dance, and Theater Production and Design programs at SFU’s School for the Contemporary Arts. This year marks the 11th anniversary of its creation, giving students involved an opportunity to collaborate with other disciplines and generate original works outside of designated class times. It also serves as a platform to promote and extend the interdisciplinary nature that the school as a whole stands by; through fostering cross-department collaboration between students during their time as undergraduates at SFU, Ascension provides an opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience that they can take with them into post- graduation. For more information including the Ascension team and bios, view the Ascension page here
