Cameron has a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding IP and its strategic importance for businesses. He has training in educational design from the University of Alberta and experience as a lecturer. He leads educational resource development at ElevateIP Alberta, and is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs with the knowledge and tools they need to protect and leverage their intellectual property. Through his efforts, Cameron has helped numerous startups turn their innovative ideas into valuable business assets, fueling their growth and ensuring their competitive edge in the marketplace.

Trevor Prentice: Founder, The IP Link
After nearly a decade of experience managing and advising on intellectual property (patents, licensing, commercial agreements, and more) at the University of Alberta, Trevor founded The IP Link to help technology entrepreneurs file more successful patents that bring value to their businesses by preparing strategically before working with a lawyer. Trevor has a BSc in Physics, a Masters in Aerospace Engineering, and a Certificate of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He is refreshingly not a lawyer and can help you understand and optimize your intellectual property strategy from a business perspective first.

David Bayda: Intellectual Property Strategist, The IP Link
For over 20 years, David has garnered wide-ranging education and practical experiences in the fields of product design, intellectual property, innovation and business strategy. Graduating from the University of Alberta with Distinction, David earned his Bachelor of Design Degree with a specialization in Business/Marketing. He has had the pleasure of working with thousands of entrepreneurs and innovators, providing them with customized guidance, advice, and support to help them turn their business dreams into reality.
