For the first time ever in Laval, this exciting and dynamic in-person class, led by professional bilingual acting coach, Anik Matern, offers kids and teens a unique opportunity to develop their acting skills in a supportive and engaging environment. This workshop is for budding actors or any child or teen looking to have fun and explore the performing arts.
While the event is open to kids and teens fluent in both English and French, the core workshop content will be in English for this session.
Designed for two age groups:
Ages 10-14: Monday Jan 20 - 7-9pm
Ages 15-18: Monday Jan 27 - 7-9pm
This workshop will spark confidence and help participants explore their creative potential.

Interested in finding out more about Anik Matern?
Passionate about acting coaching and training, Anik has worked on series like 19-2, This Life, Mohawk Girls for APTN with director Tracey Deer, and Plan B Seasons 2 & 3 for CBC. She ran the Dynamic Theater Factory from 1998-2011 and won an ACTRA Montreal Community Builder award in 2010 for her impact on young actors now working in the industry.
Anik has coached numerous actors, including stars like Marina Orsini, Jacob Tremblay, Emily Van Camp, and Jay Baruchel.
Funny enough, Anik likes to say the universe has a good sense of humour as she also plays the Teacher in David Guetta’s hit video, Titanium by Sia, with over 975 million views.
