About this event

Join us for a 4-week Bachata series where we’ll explore the beauty of Bachata’s expressive, smooth, and connection-focused style. This series will focus on fluid body movement, connection between partners, and musical interpretation. While sensual elements of the dance are included, our approach prioritizes technique, communication, and respectful connection—making it a fun, creative, and comfortable experience for all levels.

This series is perfect for those looking to deepen their understanding of the dance, enhance their partnerwork, and move with confidence, without the exaggerated or overly sexualized movements often associated with "sensual" dance styles.

Whether you’re new to the style or looking to refine your skills, we welcome everyone to grow in a supportive and professional environment. Come dance with us and experience the art of connection!

Frequently asked questions

I’m a complete beginner. Can I still attend?

Absolutely! This event is perfect for beginners. Our lessons are designed to be accessible to all skill levels, and our community is friendly and welcoming to newcomers.

Do I need attend with a partner?

No! We rotate partners frequently during class, and our community is open to dance with once the lesson is over!

Do I need to switch partners?

Although we highly recommend getting in rotation, we're okay if you don't switch partners in class

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely. While there’s no strict dress code, many people opt for casual, breathable clothing. For footwear, smooth-soled shoes are recommended for easier turns and slides.

What’s the parking situation?

Street parking is available near the studio, anywhere not on Whyte Ave is free. We recommend arriving a bit early to find parking.
