Join us for an engaging and hands-on Beginner Crochet Workshop at Ed's Mercantile! This three-part series is designed to take you from a novice to a confident crocheter, with the guidance of our experienced instructor, Rebecca.
Workshop Breakdown:
Class 1: Working in Rows (Bracelet)
Date: Thursday, November 14
Time: 5:15 - 7:00 PM
Learn how to make a slip knot, chain, single crochet and half double crochet as we make a basic bracelet together. This class will be a soft introduction to how to start and end a project and by the end of class, you should be able to finish the project.
Class 2: Working in Rows part 2 (Washcloth)
Date: Thursday, November 21
Time: 5:15 - 7:00 PM
In this class you will be introduced to double crochet. We will also learn how to recognize the end of a row, and the start of a new row so that a square can be properly formed without any tapering of the edges. You can take the project home with you after to finish it and bring it back the following week with any questions you have.
Class 2: Working in the Round (Small Pouch)
Date: Thursday, November 28
Time: 5:15 - 7:00 PM
Master the technique of working in the round as you crochet a charming small pouch. With this knowledge, you'll be able to create hats, water bottle holders, and coasters.
Materials:
Yarn and hooks will be provided for use during the workshop, if you want to bring your own materials you can. We will be using size 4-5mm hooks.

$40 for a single class, or $105 for the entire 3 part series.
