Midnight Taiko Kai is now offering a Fall Beginner Workshop! During this series, you will receive a brief overview of the history of taiko and the different types of drums used in an ensemble, learn proper form, stance and striking techniques, drills, and choreography. You will get to know the members of Midnight Taiko, and by the end of this workshop series, you will be able to play an entire taiko piece!


The Beginner Workshop takes place on 3 consecutive Sunday evenings as follows:

Sunday, October 20 from 6:30 to 8:45 PM

Sunday, October27 from 6:30 to 8:45 PM

Sunday, November 3 from 6:30 to 8:45 PM

Please arrive 5-10 minutes early. Street parking available in the area (please check signs for any parking restrictions). We also suggest that you wear comfortable clothing, and either bring indoor shoes with good grip, or go barefoot.
