101 | BOIS : Intro à l’Atelier + initiation à la technique (membres)

Ce cours s'adresse aux débutants sans ou avec très légère expérience pratique liée aux machine-outils du travail du bois (Banc de scie, scie à onglet scie à ruban et perceuse à colonne). Cette formation est une introduction à la philosophie et aux pratiques de l’atelier Bois de LESPACEMAKER suivie d’un cours technique d’utilisation des machine-outils. Suite à cette formation, les membres seront invités à utiliser les ateliers lors de deux sessions supervisées. Pour planifier une session supervisée, merci d'écrire à bois@lespacemaker.com ou de poster sur le groupe Facebook de l'atelier.

Éléments théoriques et pratiques:

• Santé et sécurité de l'atelier de bois
• Banc de scie
• Scie à onglet
• Scie à ruban
• Perceuse à colonne

Éléments pratiques :

• Différentes coupes utilisant la machinerie et l'outillage

Après la formation, le participant sera habilité à :

• Accès à l'espace réservé en JAUNE de l'atelier de bois (d’abord lors des périodes supervisées)
• Accès aux outils et machineries d'accès JAUNE (d’abord lors des périodes supervisées)

Liste de matériel fourni avec l'inscription :

• Tout le matériel est fourni pour la formation à l’exception de la tenue vestimentaire et accessoires de sécurité obligatoire (protection oculaire, protection auditive, souliers couverts et vêtements ajustés)

This course is for lespacemaker members only. If you are interested in becoming a member, you should participate in one of our introductory visits. A portion of the training will cover the philosophy and mechanics of the LESPACEMAKER wood workshop to ease your use.

101 | WOOD: Introduction to the Workshop + Introduction to Technique (membres)

This course is designed for beginners with little or no hands-on experience with woodworking machine tools (bench saw, miter saw, band saw and drill press). This training is an introduction to the philosophy and practices of the LESPACEMAKER woodworking shop followed by a technical course on the use of the machine tools.

*** Clothing and safety accessories are mandatory for this training ***

Theoretical and practical elements:

• Health and safety in the wood shop
• Saw bench
• Mitre saw
• Band saw
• Drill press

Practical elements:

• Different cuts using the machinery and tools

After the training, the participant will be empowered to:

Access to the YELLOW area of the wood shop (first during supervised periods)

Access to YELLOW tools and machinery (first during supervised periods)

Material list provided with registration:

All material is provided for the training with the exception of mandatory safety clothing and accessories (eye protection, hearing protection, covered shoes and tight fitting clothing)

• Long hair tied back
• Dust mask
