Welcome to the Annual General Meeting of the CLRN ! Join us on Wednesday Dec. 18, 2024 at 8:30 AM at the Crowne Plaza Moncton. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow members of the Lobster Node (2010-2016), learn about the latest updates, and contribute to the future of this organization.

While having you there, a workshop on "Climate Change Impacts on Lobster Fishing Communities: Economic Stability and Livelihoods" will take place on Tuesday Dec. 17, 2024 at 1:30 PM, followed by a working session to prepare the AGM at 4:45 PM.

Bienvenue à l'assemblée générale annuelle du RCRH ! Joignez-vous à nous le mercredi 18 décembre 2024 à 8h30 au Crowne Plaza Moncton. C'est une excellente occasion de connecter avec d'autres membres du réseau homard (2010-2016), de vous informer sur les dernières nouvelles du réseau et de contribuer à l'avenir de cette organisation.

Nous avons le plaisir de vous inviter également à un atelier intitulé « Les impacts du changement climatique sur les communautés de pêcheurs de homards : stabilité économique et moyens de subsistance » qui aura lieu le mardi 17 décembre 2024 à 13h30, suivi d'une session de travail pour préparer l'AGA à 16h45.

Canadian Lobster Research Network

The Canadian Lobster Research Network (CLRN) is a research platform that supports sustainable and profitable exploitation of Canadian lobster fisheries in the face of rapid climate and ecosystem changes through co-constructed research activities involving industry, indigenous groups, academia, and government. The network aims to gather and integrate ecological and biological data on the lobster resource with new data on the social and economic performance of the fishery. This information will be used to generate objective indicators of the fishery’s sustainability, which can inform adaptive decision-making by managers and stakeholders in support of harvester, coastal community and regional well-being and resilience.
