Bites & Frights Ghostly Foodie Tour

Hosted by Discover the Past and Off The Eaten Track, this exclusive two-hour walking tour blends spine-chilling ghost stories with delicious local food, creating a one-of-a-kind experience that is sure to thrill both haunted enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

Guests will explore the haunted history of Victoria while strolling through the streets of Chinatown, Old Town, and downtown, guided by expert storytellers from Discover the Past. Along the way, participants will visit some of the city's most famous haunted sites, where they'll hear the legends of restless spirits and mysterious happenings.

But that’s not all—between ghostly encounters, participants will indulge in tasty bites at four foodie destinations curated by Victoria’s oldest food tour company, Off The Eaten Track. Stops include the award-winning Maiiz Nixtamal, Oni Oni, Wind Cries Mary, and Rogers’ Chocolates, the most haunted chocolate shop in Canada! A delicious way to get to know some local favorites and new hidden gems.

Is this tour suitable for children?

All ages are welcome to attend but due to the haunted content we suggest only kids over 10 should attend.

Is the food included in the price?

Yes! Your ticket includes all the food as well as the 2-hour tour narrated by two local guides.

Is this tour vegetarian?

Yes, the tour can be made vegetarian but you must request this option ahead of time.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

I'm afraid due to the nature of the tour we are unable to accommodate all food allergies. Please do reach out if you have any food allergies and we will do our best to accommodate. Not recommended is anyone with a severe nut or dairy allergy.

How much walking is involved?

We will be outside and walking for roughly 45-60 minutes. It is light walking with no hills but guests should be able to walk and stand for about an hour.

Will tour run if the weather is bad?

Yes, this tour will run rain or shine. We highly suggest dressing for the weather.
