We will enjoy a morning of hiking, community, and nature.

This hike trail is considered intermediate. (Level 2)
This trail does involve climbing stairs and rocks that might be considered steep. If you have trouble with stairs, then you may find it difficult.
Please dress appropriately according to the weather (warm workout clothes, fall jacket, fleece sweater, warm socks etc.) We recommend shoes with good grip (sneakers /hiking boots).
Trekking post is recommended (but not required) for support, especially if the ground is muddy. The total distance for this walk is approximately 6 km. (2 km from P7 to King Mountain, 2 km at King Mountain loop, and 2 km back). Bring water and light healthy snacks
Notes:
- Our group can only accomodate 25 individuals for this hike. Only those that register can participate.
- No pets for this walk.
- This trail is not accessible for strollers. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- We recommend a backpack to bring your water/snacks and extra clothes (or to remove layers).

Location: Kingsmere-King Mountain – Meet up details will be emailed to all registrants prior to the hike
Time: We will get started at 10 AM. Please plan your arrival for 9:45 AM so that we can all leave together!
Transportation: Registrants are responsible for their transportation to the location. Black Ottawa Connect does not offer carpool service.
