About this event

Sustaining a concussion is frustrating, confusing, and leave you feeling lost. Mind and body-based approaches are critical for recovery and can prevent injuries from happening again. Cait and Shelley are professionals within the concussion space. Cait on the psychological side, and Shelley on the embodiment and functional side. Most importantly, both have experienced concussions and have learned what helps and hinder the recovery process.

In two hours, you will experience the transformation that simple practices to support your mind & body for this winter season.

What should I bring?

You will need to bring your own yoga mat, comfortable clothing and open mind to learn about concussions.

What is the schedule for the event

We will all meet at 1:15 (no later!) in the parking lot and take a nature walk to the yoga dome. There we will get settled, learn about concussions, engage in an interactive workshop around the psychology of the injury followed by a 45 min yoga sessions tailored to concussion prevention and recovery

Do I need to have had a concussion to attend?

No! We hope you have not sustained this injury however the event is tailored to those who are at enhanced risk for concussion (ie. engage in sport / active lifestyle) and or those who are recovering. Whether it is 3 weeks or 3 years since your injury, we have you covered!
