Breakfast with Barbara Klunder is designed to inspire makers to say something. Spend the morning stitching, hooking, knitting or just relax and enjoy an artist-led talk by Barbara Klunder and a complimentary continental breakfast. Klunder will give insight to her career, creative process, and thoughts on Craftivism, a worldwide movement that operates at the intersection of craft and activism and how it changes the world through art.

Barbara Klunder is a Toronto-based artist, illustrator and designer well known in the textile world for her graphic hand-knit sweaters and hand-hooked rug installations. Her work is held in private and public collections and institutions across Canada including the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Royal Ontario Museum, and the Textile Museum. Selected Works published in 2020, tells the story of her 55-year career as an artist from her early days at OCA to the present. Featuring illustrations of a wide range of her favourite works across mediums, the book is not only a retrospective of her gallery exhibitions and works but a record of the legendary music and theatre events that took place along Queen Street West.
