Connecting with the Niagara T1D Community- Breakthrough T1D & Ypsomed Diabetes Care.

Join Breakthrough T1D and Ypsomed on Wednesday, November 27th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Parkway Social, 327 Ontario St, St. Catherines for an engaging evening where families living with type 1 diabetes can bowl, connect and learn more about the latest technology from Ypsomed Diabetes Care including the newly approved mylife Loop.

The mylife Loop consists of the mylife YpsoPump, a lightweight and intuitive insulin pump, integrated with the CamAPS FX hybrid closed-loop, a mobile phone-based algorithm, and the Dexcom G6 Continuous Glucose Monitoring System. Working together, these components provide an innovative, automated insulin delivery system designed to simplify insulin therapy and improve glycemic control for Canadians living with diabetes.

Our all-ages event includes 2 hours of bowling, food and games


  • Meet a Diabuddy: Join our Breakthrough T1D Ambassadors who will be leading games and activities.
  • While the kids are being entertained, adults will meet with experts from Ypsomed who will answer all your questions about the latest technology.
  • Enjoy a complimentary pizza dinner (gluten free and vegetarian options available)
  • Enter your name for a chance to win some great prizes.

How many people can I bring?

  • This event is limited to a maximum of 75 people on a first come, first serve basis. If required, we will start a wait list!
  • This is an opportunity to bring together the T1D community to meet one another and hopefully make a Diabuddy! We ask that this event prioritize those with T1D, and please note this event is not open to friends and extended family.
  • We would kindly ask that there is a limit of 4 tickets per family.

Will there be gluten free and vegetarian options?
Yes, there will be gluten free and vegetarian options available. While we do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, if you have severe food allergies please don't hesitate to reach out to us in advance of the event.
