Why do Empaths need Breathwork?

Due to our systems being overwhelmed by other people’s energies, empaths tend to be in a constant state of fight or flight. To cope with this consistent stress, empaths are often disconnected and disassociated from their bodies. This also disconnects them from their inner knowing or intuition. This results in depression or anxiety and shows up in our relationships with ourselves and others.

One of the quickest and most beautiful ways to reconnect with ourselves is through breath.

Take a moment to check in. How are you breathing right now? Chances are you are taking shallow and quick breaths. Place you hand on your heart and take five deep breaths. This is a gift you can give yourself. Notice how you breathe.

A breathwork session allows the empath to move from the stressed automatic nervous system (fight or flight) to the relaxed parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest). We find a grounding sense in our body and move our breath with the intent of safely opening and loving our heart.

This process can be emotional and profound.

Breathwork has been one of the most deeply healing modalities that I’ve experienced in my Empathic journey.

This group offers a supportive and loving environment to explore our energetic systems through breath, sounds and body postures. Breathwork is coming home to your heart.

Each class will center on a chakra, using breath and Reiki to move energy as needed.

There is no goal or need to arrive at a certain point. Just acceptance of what we find in our exploration of breath.

There is no experience in breath work or energy work needed. Please come as you are. Everyone is welcome.

This is a monthly event. Feel free to come to all sessions or anyone that calls you.

To ensure everyone gets individual attention in class, this class is limited to 8 people. Register to ensure your spot.

Sarah is a dedicated and compassionate Reiki Master, specializing in providing healing support to women who have experienced trauma and are sensitive empaths.

With her extensive expertise in Reiki, Breathwork, intuitive abilities, and spiritual counseling skills (including a BA in Psychology and an Addiction Counselor Diploma), Sarah assists women in embracing self-love and acceptance on a profound level.

Sessions with Sarah combine the powerful techniques of Reiki and Breathwork to soothe the nervous system and alleviate the body's fight or flight response. This process enables the mind, body, and soul to access their innate wisdom and healing abilities. The client and practitioner work together as a team in this transformative journey.

Sarah firmly believes that no one is broken or needs fixing; instead, the focus is on learning to love and integrate the fragmented parts that have been protecting our systems. Her approach is characterized by compassion, complete acceptance, humor, and the art of storytelling, creating a warm and inviting space for clients to reconnect with their own hearts.

In addition to individual sessions, Sarah facilitates a monthly Empath support group that addresses the energetic, emotional, and social challenges faced by empaths in their lives. Each class covers a different topic and invites reflection, learning and conversation. The purpose is acceptance and celebration of yourself and fostering a hearted- based community.
