Attention: City of Red Deer and Red Deer County Rural Area businesses!

We invite you to learn about a new initiative underway to support the growth and success of your business - BREWD. It stands for Business Retention and Expansion and Workforce Development. It is a business-driven initiative aimed at enhancing the future of Central Alberta's economy.

The goal of BREWD is to foster a competitive business environment that serves the needs of existing businesses and industries while also developing and implementing a plan to attract and retain labor for future growth. What that plan looks like will depend on input from business owners like you. Tell us about the challenges and opportunities you encounter as a local business owner. Learn about the needs of other business owners.

Please join us for an informal conversation with other businesses, community representatives, and the Central Alberta First partners to discover how your participation can benefit both you and your business.

This is a made-in-central-Alberta, business-directed plan for action! Business owners and operators like you are essential to the success of Central Alberta First. Join us and have your voice heard. We look forward to seeing you there.

Participating communities include the Town of Olds, the Town of Penhold, the Town of Innisfail, City of Red Deer. Businesses in the rural areas of Mountain View County, Kneehill County, and Red Deer County.
