About this event

Dr. Christine Suurtamm’s insights will surely provide valuable perspectives on how children learn mathematics and practical ways families can support their learning. This session will  focus on Kinder to Grade 6 learning, as those early years are so crucial for building a strong mathematical foundation. We will particularly focus on how spatial reasoning is connected to all of the strands of mathematics, even number sense and early algebra and share ways that you can support your students to develop these important concepts

Organized by

The Catholic School Parents' Association (CSPA) is an independent volunteer parent organization that represents parents and elected school council members of the Ottawa Catholic School Board. We support school councils in their efforts to engage the parent community of each school. By partnering with administrative staff at the Ottawa Catholic School Board, we are able to keep school councils and families informed about educational issues affecting their school community.
