Building Sumood through Poetry with Laila Shaikh

Local Palestinian poet and organizer Laila Shaikh will guide us through a poetry workshop diving into the impact Palestinian writers play within the art of resistance. This workshop invites our community to strengthen our sumood (steadfastness) through words. In this one-hour workshop, Laila will introduce several historical Palestinian poets and the impact they had on our fight for freedom and guide the group in collectively creating a poem.
