About this event
Invitation to Business Continuity, Security and Privacy Workshop for Museums
Meet your peers, share ideas and learn new ways to protect your institution.
We are pleased to invite you to participate in our exclusive Security, Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Privacy Workshop designed specifically for museums, hosted by Rogers Business, Edgeworx and Crestview Strategy. Hosted at the Aga Khan Museum, hear from Lisa Pottie, Chief Operating Officer about the McMichael Canadian Art Collection’s journey to protecting their collection. Michelle Chibba, former Director of Policy for the Ontario Information and Privacy Commissioner and current Instructor at Metropolitan Toronto University will also discuss the ever-evolving regulatory environment around personal information and privacy.
Many places don’t have multi-million-dollar budgets and staff to dedicate full time to risk management, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t basic tools and processes available. How you identify the risks, prepare for them and respond in a credible way could mean the difference between a hiccup or a near-death experience for your institution.
