You won't want to miss this for Bow Valley Community Week!
Are helping a friend of family member with a life limiting illness, disability or aging? Whether that person lives close by or in a different country, YOU are a caregiver.
It's not always easy helping the way you do! Connect with no cost resources and compassionate people who understand the caregiving journey and can help you navigate it. You are not alone! Join us!
This session will be facilitated by a Caregivers Alberta Ambassador, and will offer space for local caregivers of all backgrounds to come together, with the intent to help them discover they are not alone on their journey. There is a growing network of caregiver support within the Bow Valley, that Caregivers Alberta is honoured to be part of, offering a range of accessible resources, expertise and one-to-one or group programs that will help caregivers and communities navigate the caregiving journey.
Come out to connect with the caregiving community, enjoy a cup of tea and experience a taste of a self-care practice called Forest Bathing, that you can take home with you. We are caregiving together!
