About this event

Students are asked to respond to a location, identify an element that can be characterized or personified, and using comic speech bubbles represent the element’s inner voice. Participants may draw a natural element from memory, from reference, or cut and stick a speech bubble onto an existing image, depending upon their abilities.

This exercise in intended to connect to traditional teachings about the life of the land – encouraging empathy and respect for all beings.
