Annual meeting and Potluck

Mark your calendars for our community Potluck event at 3832 Carp Rd. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow community members to discuss the future of sustainable food in Carp and the world! Bring your favorite dish to share while listening to a short presentation followed by a discussion. Understand why "Sustainable Local Food Systems Everywhere!" are essential for both reversing climate change, and our health. The movement starts in Carp!! We can't wait to see you there!

We will have a Zoom option available for those who can not join us in person. The link to the Zoom will be found on our website. The Deep Roots Food Hub Annual Meeting, follows the potluck, information presentation and discussion, should you choose to stay. Memberships are $15 and (board approval required) provide the right to vote. If you have been a volunteer in 2024-25, the cost of membership will be waived.

Are children invited?

Children are invited, although if they are restless, you may have to take them downstairs to walk/run around. People of all ages are welcome. We particularly hope that teenagers and young adults will participate in this local-to-global movement that could be so crucial to their future.

What are the expected timelines for this meeting?

People can arrive about 5:15 to set up their dish, find a table and settle in. The presentation (about 20 minutes) will start when people have their food and sit down, followed by questions and group discussion. The annual meeting will start about 7:30 pm, and last about 30 minutes
